Simple Crochet Coaster Pattern

Happy Monday, crafters!

Every weekend, Mr. M and I trade off hosting duties with some friends of ours and have a fun night of dinner and board games. This weekend was our turn, and I realized that since we just replaced our dining room table, we needed some coasters to keep it watermark-free!

A set of four of these coasters worked up in about 20 minutes, and I just love them. I still need to block them so that they lay nice and flat. But even as they are, they worked PERFECTLY, and I just had to share them with you! (I apologize for the poor photo quality; I used my phone for an on-the-go photo-op this morning as I left the house!)

This pattern can even be changed up to include stripes or other color fun. I made one coaster in Mr. M’s favorite locomotive colors (BNSF orange and green, for those who are interested), and he will not stop using it, even on surfaces that don’t require the love and care of a coaster (i.e. our junky coffee table).

I can’t wait to make more of these in fun spring colors. Happy crafting!

***Please feel free to share this pattern with other crafters! You may make and sell products from my patterns, but I ask that you please link back to my post. Please do not copy this pattern and claim it as your own. Let’s share the yarn-crafting love!***
