Happy Wednesday, crafters!
Recently, things have been picking up in my blogging life. I feel that I haven’t been as attentive to my blog or the social media accounts lately as I can be, and I’ve decided to change that.
I’ve ordered a beautiful planner to help with planning and managing the content for my blog and the social media accounts, and I can’t wait for it to get here so that I can start writing things down. I’ve also discovered this fantastic (and free) service that links your Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts and lets you post to all of them at once! I’m still learning how to use it, but it’s already proven to be super helpful.
I’ve also been working on some other really neat projects! I’ve got a truly awesome Star Trek amigurumi pattern set in the works, the Firefly CAL starts up soon, and there’s a few other irons in the fire as well, which I think will be really exciting.
To that end, I unfortunately decided that for the foreseeable future, I will no longer be providing written row-by-row instructions for our crochet-along projects, including the Firefly CAL. I wish there were 40 hours in a day, but alas, no such luck! I know that many of our fellow crafters enjoy the written instructions, but with so many different patterns being shared for each CAL, it’s getting increasingly time-consuming to write them all out.
If you would like to learn how to read a graph, I am working on a helpful video tutorial, which I plan to have posted here before the Firefly CAL begins.
Apologies to everyone who prefers the written instructions! Perhaps I can reinstate them as standard practice in the future once things settle down.
But, plus side, only 9 days until the Firefly CAL begins! How shiny is that?
