Princess Leia Mini Amigurumi

IMG_0903

Since Leia is, in a roundabout way, a Disney princess, I decided to include her as a bonus pattern in the Mini Princess Ami series. I’ve typed up her pattern for you below, but I hope to also be offering a PDF pattern shortly–I just need to take some better pictures.

For this pattern, you will need:

  • Size D/3.25mm hook
  • Plastic safety eyes, 6mm (2 per doll)
  • Worsted- or aran-weight yarn in: skin tone, white, and brown
  • Polyester fiberfill stuffing (available at most craft stores)
  • Embroidery floss and/or crochet thread, black

These patterns rank as Easy+ on our difficulty chart.

Use the tail ends of the yarn and a yarn needle to carefully sew the bun pieces to either side of her head. See photos for placement if necessary.

If desired, you can use a strand of BROWN or GREY yarn to embroider on a belt to the doll’s dress.

Use a yarn needle and a strand of BROWN yarn to embroider on eyebrows.
