Hedgehog Pillow

Love hedgehogs? Who doesn’t? They’re 100% adorable, which is why I knew I had to make my very own hedgehog pillow. And here it is!

Isn’t this just the cutest thing you’ve ever seen? I just love his little nose–and look at those feet! I purposefully designed his feet so that his cute little toes were left free and wiggly. Bonus: his soft bobble-stitch back makes him extra cuddly!

In fact, my husband says that the Hedgehog Pillow is his favorite crocheted thing out of all of the things I’ve ever made…I think he likes it even more than I do!

To make this Hedgehog Pillow, I’ve used a variety of yarns, but the bulk of it was Lion Brand Hometown USA yarn in the colors Little Rock Granite and Los Angeles Tan. His face and feet were made with Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice yarn in the colors Black, Pink, Taupe, and a little bit of White for his eyes.

Most of this pattern is made using either the bobble stitch or double crochet. Unfamiliar with bobble stitch? Don’t worry! I’ve included lots of detailed, step-by-step written instructions for how to make the bobbles for this pillow.  So as long as you can do the chain, single crochet, half-double crochet and double crochet stitches, you can make this pillow!

At this time, the Hedgehog Pillow pattern will not be released as a free pattern on this website. However, it is available for purchase from my Etsy shop. Each pattern purchase you make helps keep Two Hearts Crochet stay up and active on the web. If you choose to purchase this pattern, please know that your support means so much to me! I know you’re going to love this Hedgehog Pillow pattern. So thank you for your purchase! And of course, please contact me if you have any questions.

He’s a little bit of a yarn-eater, but trust me–he’s worth it. I know you’re going to love him!
